Price of drinks at Fregata restaurant

A word of caution to anyone dining here.



Whilst we enjoyed the views and the Sunday meal of meze followed by Kleftiko ( 40tl.) - the occasion was spoilt for us somewhat by the price of the drinks and we will think twice about returning.



We were charged 40tl for a bottle of wine 8tl for a small bottle of sparkling water and 10tl for a small bottle of Efes and whilst we realise that there is always a significant mark up at any restaurant, we felt that this was excessive given that this particular wine is around 12tl, the water .80tl and the Efes 1.5tl in most supermarkets.



Perhaps they feel that they can get away with these prices due to their location - but I suggest that they should check out, for example, what Silver Rocks charge for drinks before pricing themselves out of the market.

Any restaurant changing that much for ordinary drinks does not deserve anyone's custom ! Time to boycott rip- off prices !

We always ask first, Silver Rocks, fabulous and so very reasonable,



Haci Ali pure class, and what a setting local drinks 4 TL.



Also many other good places with fair prices.
