food was lovely , company exellent,and so much talent .....so nice to go to such a freindly ,relaxing,family orientated place .....,thanks vicky and all will defo becomin every saturday nite we are here :+)

I'll second your appreciation of a good night had by all. It would have been great if a few more people got up and had a go. I'm sure next week will see an increase in forthcoming muso's.



Your Goulash couldn't have been that bad as my plate was emptied and next time you make it you now have the 'secret' ingredient. Oh, and as soon as I started writing this paragraph, I realised I didn't pay for my food :-0 Will sort that tonight if I can make it or next Saturday.

Indeed, what a fine evening in good company, friendly staff (nice beefburger you served!) - and enthusiastic musicians and singers from the audience! Such a good idea from the Black Olive Café, this "Open Mic Night"!

Couldn't agree more with all of the above. Great atmosphere, good musicians - and the girls that got up and sang were fantastic.

The Black Olive Cafe is in Alsancak, near The British Academy (formerly Sunny Lane).



From the main Alsancak/Lapta road, turn at the Golden Lady and take the first left, go straight across the Riverside roundabout and the Cafe is at the top of the road, straight in front of you.



Give it a go - fantastic night!
