Remember my post of a week ago about the water delivery guy in Lapta/Baspinar that thinks we are all stupid enough to not know what a tonne of water is???

Well, for those interested, let me update you on the customer service that they offer...

We complain, the good English speaking girl in office says no problem, we will get you another tanker today.

Next day, we ask... where's the tanker? Oh my brother-in-law will deliver today.

Next day, er???? Tanker??? Oh sorry my brother-in-law will deliver it tomorrow.

Next day, I think that your brother-in-law is not going to deliver water, can I have my 80 TL back please? Yes no problem, tomorrow he deliver it.

Next day, no money. I ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring. Ah they are not answering now. I ring, ring, ring, still no answer.

Then, another number calls me and it's the delivery man himself, saying that he will bring the 80TL to me tonight, but if i was to ring again..... BIG PROBLEM.

A threat? No money arrives. If only I spok

Yes, I agree. I did pay before I got the water out of the tanker. It is a No NO.

They seemed very friendly until I worked out they were short on delivery by almost HALF.

Ask to look in the tanker BEFORE he starts unloading, you will be shocked.

But threatening your customers for just requesing a fair deal. Even the TCs have better principals than that. That's why we are all here.

This on is just a crook.

I am considering what to do. NO WAY am I letting him get away with it, but TCs do have the law on their side in any dispute with a Brit, no matter who is in the right.

Don't get angry, get even. A very good policy when you can't involve the authorities.

Any ideas anyone?
