İ think it is areal step in the right direction that TRNC is supplying electricity to the ROC. Whether the offer will be truly appreciated is another matter. İ am also very happy that all of the power cuts we have been experiencing recently have now been resolved. Wonderful that we now not only can provide enough for ourselves, but also help out those dis-advantaged Cypriots in the South. İ am a little bit annoyed though that İ bought new gas bottles, mantles and matches, that obviously will not now be needed. Also, with extra revenue from the ROC for electricity, we can look forward to a reduction in the , some would say, exorbitant prices that we pay each month. How much per unit will the ROC be charged İ wonder?

Padisha, If I had a lira for every time it has been said over the past 7 years 'Power cuts are a thing of the past' I would be rich now! Keep the gas bottles and mantles you will probably need them one of these days! Chris

Hello Navek...............just a bit surprised thet the ROCs friends in the EU did not step in before the TRNC............and from what İ can gather , have still not offered help...............or have İ been reading media reports that have had gaps in their reporting?...............would love to be proved wrong and will apologise unreseveredly if that is the case.

The Greeks sent a couple of tanker loads of electricity to ROC. Unfortunately the couplings were the wrong size and it had to be dumped.

Sorry Jetski.........did not understand your post........... ..........it appears that electricity is flowing North to South, but not necessarily from East to West....................are you confusing water with electricity? Regards
