Why do so many companies in the TRNC use UK web adresses could it be that they are trying to mislead potential customer into thinking nthey at British based companies,estate agents, developers, maintence companies in particular seem to do this quite often

I believe that the whole concept of Corporate status should be scrapped and start again. No business should be allowed to operate until it's officers have passed an examination regarding the legal rules to be complied with. The very large majority of Company Directors do not know even the basic rules of their responsibilities, and do not care as they are seldom enforced. Hence the expression "from the ashes rises the Phoenix" and who gives a s..t about all the innocent creditors and customers left in the ashes. Many Companies carry on trading for years when they are plainly insolvent continuing to take income for goods and services which they know they will never be able to supply.
