Well, that is an opinion but I was hoping to read about peoples opinion on the evasive, out of touch and pathetic replies given by both jokers. The future of the Murdoch empire as this damaging hearing reveals that the old man is washed up and his son is not as clever as he thinks he is, etc. etc.

I personally thought the Murdochs held their own with the questioning. I have always thought and still do they own too much of the media, but I think that some of the questions asked were absolutely stupid i.e 54,000 employees how the f--- are they to know what each one is doing that is why you delegate, and invarably mistakes are made. I thought speech at the end was good and I thought he sounded sincere. Wonder what half those committee members have to hide. So now I expect many messages asking 'how can I think that' well you asked for personal opinions and that is mine.

Compared to this rebekahs interview now,i think she is fairing up alot better,less stammering and thinking,this bird can think on her feet,for sure !



In fact if she carries on like this,she will be controlling the commitee and the questions.

She also said earlier that she only personaly had used private investigators overhwealmingly for licit puproses to do with sarahs law, implying that on the odd occasion it was for illicit purposes, though its not what she meant and was not picked up on it.

I have been watching it all afternoon. Unfortunately, other than Louise Mensch, the committee were pretty useless. They asked some good questions but allowed the Murdochs to fudge and avoid direct answers. James looked very shifty and apart from slapping the desk constantly, Rupert seemed half asleep.

Yes, a lot of the questions asked seemed useless to us but it was plain to see (Especially the 'old fart') the Murdoch’s were not going to be helpful and at times took far too long to reply and it was obvious they were questions they were not expecting. They have dug they’re own graves!
