I am about to drive to TRNC using the Brindisi - Igoumenista night ferry and then the Tascucu - Girne night ferry . Can anybody give me any useful information as to what conditions the on deck kennels on the Brindisi - Igoumenista ferry have and what I do with the dog on the Tacucu ferry.

I have been on to the Greekferries website and know I have to provide food, water and have a dog muzzle but there is no more information on the on deck kennels.

We had friends who went from the TRNC to Turkey on the ferry with two dogs. It was about two years ago so things may or may not have changed.

When they went the dogs were confinded to the back of their car whilst on the ferry. That was the rules.

Thanks 'blade'. just had email confirming that the rule is still the same on the Turkey to TRNC ferry. The dog is confined to the car.

Just need info on the Brindisi ferry now.

The Bridisi ferry was very good and allowed the dog to stay in the car and for my husband to go down and see to him.

However, the other ferry is a different matter it was terrible. I wll get my husband to post the details for you.
