Can anybody tell me if there is a local council in Nicosia or close that you can get trees. I am sure I saw a while ago something about this but cannot find it now.

If anybody can give me information

yes, I too thought you could get trees from the Belediyesi. And not just the Nicosia one. I think all of them get grants to plant trees.
