Isnt it possible for moderators to remove all the offending posts and allow a thread to continue rather than closing the original thread.





How about a 6m's vs Washerman thread which can run forever, with both sides slinging mud at each other. We can even allow the other, mine is better than yours suspects to join in.





The rest of us can then avoid it and not have to go through these pointless posts, which prove nothing either way - except that certain members need to grow up!!!

It certainly wouldnt amuse me, I would just give it a very wide berth as I am sure others would.



It would however let others have then say on totally unrelated matters, without constantly having to wade through the usual rubbish we get.



Also it may mean members get an answer to their original question, without their thread being closed down for being off topic.



As this post has also gone way off topic I will not post on it again unless on the original topic. But should anyone want a debate about this matter then I am willing to enter the discussion shoould a thread be posted.
