In UK looking out of the window - 12.8 degrees, grey sky and raining yet again, no wonder i am just wishing for September to be back in TRNC again................can't wait! Cancelled a family BBQ twice now due to bad weather - some things really don't change!

What has happened to summertime in England ? I am sure when we where kids we had more defined seasons, and some sunshine. Feel really sorry for you people. My daughter in law e.amiled us and said the weather is crap. I often miss places in the UK, the Welsh Coastline, and Corwall. But then reality kicks in. THE CLIMATE.

Your right JohhnyLee - we used to have seasons now summer is April and from then on grey and dull with the odd day of some sun. No wonder we have the SAD syndrome! England looks great when the sun shines - it doesn't do it so it very often now - maybe in line with the economy. Enjoy the sunshine.

The economy in April looked like it was going to pick up. Result - Sunshine, Blue sky, Warm weather, Tee shirts, (don't do shorts), BBQ's, Motorbike rides. All looking good. The economy in July looking like its getting worse. Result - No sunshine, Grey clouds, Cold, Raincoats, Welly boots, Wet dogs, Lights on during the day, No bike rides. Not looking good.
