What is the going exchange rate in TRNC at the mo?

I ask because on the news this morning is was advised to avoid changing money up in to tl here but to do it abroad.

Didn't specify rates or the TRNC so am not sure which is the best way to go.

2.7 tl to £1 just click the link for Money exchange ad at the top of the page where they give current rates. I would say that it is always best to change your currency here rather than in the UK.

Its a good day to nip down to your Exchange and buy a load of TL, that's for sure. You don't see 2.73 to the £1 very often.

It does make you wonder if we are heading for a crash? Worried about our money invested in TL. I know it`s not a good time to change back to sterling right now, but am wondering just how far this is going to go.

Need to change back to sterling pretty soon. Anyone have a crystal ball?

Depending on what rate you got when you went into Lira, its being kept artificially low to help exports at the moment

I for one will be making use of the current exchange rates in exchanging sterling for TL.

I seem to remember several years ago the exchange rate hitting 3.06tl to the £ and then it went back over a period of several months to about 2.5

But to answer your question again def change your sterling in TRNC, the present rate most places in the UK are around 2.48 -2.54

The Lira is currently weak because the Turkish Central Bank should really be increasing deposit interest rates & isn't. A bit of a carbon copy of the UK. currently.
