| Hearing of 3 people hospitalised in the last 3 days with Myocardial Infarctions (Heart attacks) got me thinking and decided to do a bit of research on line. http://domains.e-healthsource.com/?p=news1&id=533782 Attached is link to an article connecting Heart attacks to High Humidity done in Greece., which also mentions Cyprus. Will try to find the original piece of research and hopefully an English translation to post here. Chris |

| Good post Chris. From my experience this is correct, I have noticed on some days recently that my chest pain as been pretty bad, and breathing hard. As you know I survived Myopericarditis, and it was very rare to do this, so I beleive. I could never find out much about it, and what I did find out was scary. But We where very keen water skiers, and had recently returned from Poros (Greek Island) on a water ski-ing holiday. I remember reading the local newspaper in hospital in the UK and there was a small article saying that there had actually been an outbreak of Myopericarditis in Crete I think. (it's a viral heart infection). But also on the other side of the coin, extreme cold affects me more. |
