Turks at George Benson Concert

Had a fabulous evening at the George Benson concert at the Rocks, superb dinner, fireworks then the concert. Majority of audience were Turkish who no doubt were on a junket for the casino then told there was a concert. Thank goodness for the Europeans in the audience who half way through were up and dancing and really having a good time. Speaking to one of his guitarists after, he said that they were worried when they say all the people sitting there looking as if they were not enjoying it (not all of them) until we explained that it was not the fault of the band but they didn't understand the audience. Next concert try and put the 'on their feet' lot nearer the front to give the entertainers support. George and his band were magnificent.

Hi Rita - glad you had a good time. We would definitely have gone along if we'd been there.

HI Jean would have loved you to have been there, of course you understand I was not one of those dancing my body cannot take it anymore was bad enough going to bed at 3 am - but was worth it.
