I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who went to the SOS village last week. Although they need everything, what they need most are short sleeved, plain, white t. shirts, for children aged 6 to 16. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and can be dropped off at the SOS Children's Village in Lefkosa, or my friend will gladly pick them up and take them there herself. Many thanks.

Many thanks to all who wish to help. All donations are very, very much appreciated. I had offered to arrange for school uniforms to be brought over from the UK, but apparently the schools are very strict about uniforms and may not approve of ones I get. I forgot to mention that the t. shirts must have round necks, no v's. Castlemilk: no problem, thank you! Pipie:also, many thanks! Mike, so sorry about unpleasant remarks you have to read because of me. Anne xx

Thanks all who have sent a positive response.Washerman I look forward to meeting you soon, and apologise. I posted this on behalf of a lovely lady, who only has the charity SOS as her only concern. I qoute "I have an absolute aversion of getting involved with this forum. There are a few very nasty people on here......etc." God/Allah...how can they be so sick.to do with a charitable event? Flamefabs, you are so despicable................I censor the resr Mike lapta

Mike This * person* is disgusting and should be ashamed of himself, but anyone with such a low level of intellect and high sense of their own importance probably has no idea how revolting he is. Best just to ignore him, he isn't worth the effort.

What is going on? A request for help for a worthwhile charity turns into a slinging match... grow up for heaven's sake.. it's not all about you!

Pat that's wonderful.Anne, who is the organiser, would like your email address. If you email on Hotmail,I will fprward to her. Yes,I am off to a cheap singlet country in 2 week, hopefully I can bring many singlets back with me. Hope to meet you,too in September !!! I do ignore the odd silly b*stard.....just sorry a odd bad apple spoils such a good forum. When they try and spoil a "charitable"request,oh and try and post sick jokes about Norway, there is no hope for them.
