You might like to try Tiga in Lefkosa who import Japanese cars in perfect condition and with a range of prices similar to what you want to pay but more importantly they would have a gaurantee.You are more likely to take a chance with buying on the open market.My view and nothing to do with Tiga although I have only bought my cars from them!

Hi Twoofus, my parents have a 2000 Silver VW Golf estate. It's the 115hp model and is diesel (goes forever on a tank!) and cheaper to service. They imported it a couple of years ago thinking they were going to spend a lot more time than they actaully do so it's just sitting in Lapta for most of the year (although it is covered and under cover) all taxes and duties paid also taxed. He is looking for around GBP £6000. You don't see many estates in TRNC, not sure why as they are so useful. It has roof bars too!! Very low mileage as it was my mums shopping trolley from new. It has a full checkable service history (upto arriving in TRNC) but only done a few hundred miles since then.

Very good little runner,very economic,just taxed (130tl)

Easy to get parts if need be as they also build them in Turkey,though mine is an import from UK.

We are a fan of japonese cars as they tend to be v reliable. How much are you wanting for the Nissan march? Were moving to just by guzelyurt, which I believe isn't too far away from alsancak
