Megrahi the Lockerbie bomber has been on TV in support of the government. Should we be asking the specialists who are treating him for cancer how they have managed to keep him alive for three years after being given just a few months to live or should we be making sure that the doctor ,who diganosed his illness, is struck off and not allowed near sick people again ?

You should be addressing this to politicians in USA, UK, Scotland and Libya. This is a question the relatives of the people killed during the Lockerbie incident must ask themselves every single day.

They raised this question on the news and it seems that being re-united with his family has extended his life.

Tango1. I would not ask any politican this question as I would like a sensible answer. It was the pollies who set him free in a deal for oil. I firmly believe that. I wonder if the doctor, seeing this man on TV, feels ashamed. I doubt it.

See that the UK has expeled the Libyan embassy staff and now recognise the rebel National Transitional Council (NTC ) as the Libyan governing authority.
