Does anybody have any information on Sevillas Villas?



I have reached a stalemate with Sevillas Construction about completion of the villa and the complex and I would like to know what other people have done or doing?

We are still waiting...there is no direct answer appart from "soon" which is taking longer than expected. Hopefully they should finish it within 2 month but I'm not sure about electricity connection when it will be provided.

I have a property at Tatlisu and I have been told before they can complete the complex they need the final installment and to waiver any dead line dates, which I am not keen to do.



Have you agreed to this?

I dont know what complex you are on but our Tatlisu site is now 6 years on and we are still getting promises of the electricity transformer being completed soon. It is three years since we were told that the transformer was being done.



Completion of the site is being managed by their appointed legal representative and only after all monies are paid to them. Forget what is on your contract about money after completion because they will demand full payment before they agree to further work. Most on our site have paid some time ago but things still dont get done.

The contract was signed March 2006.



Are you in contact with any other property owners?



Have you considered any legal action against Sevillas Construction?



It seems Sevillas Construction have not completed other properties!

There are many posts on here to advise that legal action is a waste of time. We have found that by constantly contacting Sevilla regarding work on our villa that things have gradually got done. We are at the villa more than we are in the uk so we have contact with most others on site.



I believe Sinan will omplete the complex in his own good time. From our experience your villa will only be completed after you pay all monies to Naomi Mehmet solicitors.



We have been told by these solicitors that electricity will only be connected to those who have paid in full and sewerage completion cannot be completed until everyone has paid as they do not have sufficient funds.

spike123, Do you not know by now that the 'Contract' is not worth the paper it is written on? Going for compensation will only cost you money.

Yep, the contract maybe pretty much worthless (or maybe not), but that is something I will look into. It doesn't seem anyone else has really looked into it?



I am not going to pay the final installment as this investment has gone sour and will investigate all possible options.



If the contract is useless then why do they want me to waiver the compensation and then not agree to have a new final completion date when the last installment has been paid!



I think there is more to be investigated first and if anybody has something to offer then I would be gratefull?
