flight change times in istanbul

Hi all, been a while. Returning to where we got married 3 years ago and was a bit worried about my flights.

Can anyone tell me if we have to go thru check in etc when we change in istanbul, we are flying in from manchester and have a 1 hour turnaround for the plane change to fly to ercan. any help or info would be grateful, thanks. camster.

Just follow the signs for transit passengers. Manchester should ticket you and your luggage through and give you a boarding pass for Istanbul to Ercan.

If you're flying Turkish they sometimes hold their connecting flight to Ercan and rush you through the airport if you've been delayed from Manchester, slight problem we have experienced is your luggage might not be transfered and you'll have to go back to the Airport for it later /next day if you're an independent traveller. Otherwise they will put you on the last flight through to Ercan, just means you will have a wait @ Istanbul.
