Ian Smith's will be able to explain the rules that apply to the leasehold properties for sale in the village, also leasehold properties are not allowed to be rented out if am not mistaken, but there are some freehold properties for sale and to rent where the rules dont apply

We have a fabulous property up in Karmi up for sale It's got incredible views of sea and mountain and is not overlooked. It's more spacious than your average Karmi house with 2/3 bedrooms, 1 bath, 1 en-suite. with the opportunity to turn upstairs into a seperate appartment. All traditional features, stone arches, traditional floor... am I selling it?!!!!



It is leasehold but this is not a problem, and it can be rented out for short holiday lets, just not long term.



Feel free to contact me to come and have a look any time We love it here and don't want to sell, but relocating to NZ so to far to come now :-(

If you intend living in Karaman suggest you get some good earplugs.

Just spent 3 weeks there

Constant dog barking until the early hours and idiots up and down to the spot on their very loud motorbikes.

And there are also the 4 wheel drivers who drive everywhere in 2nd gear!

Place is a nightmare !!

Before you write it off maybe you should try finding somewhere higher in the village or away from entrance to the village. There are only 2 locations I can think of with barking dogs one as you approach the village and one near the car park. Spot is only open from 9pm Thursday - Saturday so not a continuous problem really eh? Fellow readers - do not be put off living or holidaying in Karmi!

Wonderful place has more ex Majors green wellies and barbour jackets per sq metre than any where else.



You should be aware that you will probably suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder from November to March.



Dont bank on being able to watch Sky you arnt allowed a dish.
