having just had the latest OSN HD Showbox fitted by Cyprus satellite, i would like to say am glad that i made up my own mind and not listened to all the negative comments posted on here, the job was well planned the chaps arrived as promised on time if not earlier with everything they needed (unlike my previous TV system supplier), came in checked what i already had and off they went job done very quickly,nothing was to much trouble, and when it came to going through the remote both Paul and Dan would not leave until i was ok with everything, i would recommend them to everyone who lives here all year for a great package of viewing and knowing that if you need anything you can contact them any time

I agree I have had this system for nearly 1 year very happy with it. No freezing and any problems you can contact them and get a quick response. My box froze when I went away a few minutes on the phone with Paul and it was sorted.

I have also just had this system installed & I am very happy. It is much better than what I had before.



I also believe if I do have a problem Paul or Dan will soon sort it out.

Look... this is a GREAT system.. OF COURSE it works...



BUT...



The person fitting it has only recently admitted that he isn't an approved dealer and that Cyprus is not a nation for which Showtime OSN have rights...



How 'satisfied' will punters be when they can't get the channels they paid for... We've seen this all before.. lambs to the slaughter comes to mind...

If your in the uk i guess you cant travel to north cyprus to fit one system,are you actually trading there at the moment,or do you get bulk orders then fly out there.



If you rent do land lords allow big dishes to be erected,and do you do buy back deals if a client does not decide to stay in north cyprus.

*I* don't charge a bean.. I can advise you how to get OSN showtime at the price folk pay in licensed countries - or SKY at cost.



Regarding OSN Showtime or The Abu Dhabi systems- I have advised MANY folk how to do this

Specifically, Andrew - it's when someone tells other members how 'great' a grey market pirate sat system - which has been marketed by someone claiming to be an official dealer - and the TV companies have actually responded to Cyprus residents stating that they might turn off the units subscription rights at any time...

Both OSN and Sky HD channels are broadcast in 1080i resolution. That is just a plain fact and easily verifyable. The source material's original resolution varies depending on the producer of that material, but all are broadcast at 1080i.
