Do any Car Hire companies rent decent 4 x 4?

Hi a friend wants to hire a reasonable 4 x 4 for his holiday i.e. not a Suziki Jeep but something more substantial - do any of the hire companies have them please?

Don't take Baspinar's Land Rover Freelander!!

Unless the clapped-out one which we hired in June 2010 has since been replaced by a newer model. We returned it after one hour.
