I have looked at past posts re this topic but cannot find the answer, I give blood every four months so my questions is do I still need to have a blood test for residency? seems a bit stupid to me and makes me wonder if to bother giving blood. Ken is over the hill so is in the clear!!!! Lizzie

Yes Liz you still have to have the blood test unfortunately!

TopTen; It is based on the assumption that you could have caught a deadly disease within the few months following your blood donation.
