i would presume it is part of the web site optimization, the more we mention TRNC or north cyprus, the better ranking the Cyprus44 will get!

Don't think that we are just marketing cyprus44, we are also helping people to reach the valuable information posted on these thread more easily.



To give an example:

if you are a tourist looking for information about car hire let's say and search on google, it is more likely that one of our forum pages (that includes discussions about the best car hire firm) will come up if we include the "north cyprus" somewhere in the subject line, as opposed to not using it.

The practice of adding "trnc" though is just new and we, forum admins, decided to test this.

I think it looks a bit O.T.T. Isn't there some other way of showing whether it is a local contirbution or from afar - or does it really matter. Cyprus 44 is a north cyprus site, or don't people kow it. Maybe I will get used to it, but I confess I don't lkike it at the moment but then new things do take a while.

On the other hand, I don't know any other Forum which has the same thing. Or just stick the TRNC flag at the beginning????
