TRNC is one of 18 countries or republics that is not unilaterally accepted by the international community.

Is it not time, after more than 30 years, that some movement towards acceptance and recognition could be seen to benefit the region, its inhabitants, and the Island of cyprus generally. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?

Waz,

Not a chance. You can't argue with United Nations resolutions. The current talks are aimed at getting rid of the TRNC so let's all hope they go well for the sake of the Turkish Cypriots, not foreigners.

I know that FS, but if you are a resident in a country you abide by the laws, rules and regulations should be the same for everyone.
