lived in south london all my life

because the seed of political correctness stopped the police policing areas, youths grew up with total disrespect for law and order.in southwark ,an area of london there were 135 pubs ten years ago ,now there are 15.yes thats right 15.

in london on average 3 pubs a week are closing.and with it go working mans law and order.where we would say to young men cut it out,or else.

and where do all the youth now go to socialize....street corners.

whites are now running eltham and enfield, and now other suburbs protecting people and communitys, while the bnp and edl recruit like crazy.

muslims, turks and other minorities are protecting there areas armed.

the common enemy is the blacks.

but there are a thousand times as many, good hard working respectful black people, than there are black scumbags

and there were a lot of white trash there as well.

all what multi racial london has stood for is gone, now a new seed has been sown" hatred"

this is the beginnin

The problem is "communities" all races

are not mixing enough

(i do not blame them)

hence you get the "them and us" situation

Absolutely correct message 1 - we both been bought up in areas such as yourself and myself (Vauxhall/Peckham) to realise the extent of what goes on it really is a different world out there. Multi culturism cannot work in London because each nationality does not mix. The next problem (well over last year or so been simmering) will be blacks and asians.

Rita. The problems between the 'blacks' and 'asians' are already evident in the Midlands as we clearly saw on the news channels over the last couple of days.

RIP Broken Britain.. You went soft on discipline!.. You went soft on immigration! You went soft on crime.. Parents were told.. 'No you can't smack the kids'....Teachers were prevented from chastising kids in schools.. The police couldn't clip a troublemaker round the ear.. Kids had rights blah blah blah.. Well done Britain..You shall reap what you sow.. We have lost a whole generation!!

So where in the world are diifferent cultures 'races' mixing enough ?? I think the UK is one of the only countries in the world that has managed to bond so many different culture together.

We are talkin about a large group of trouble makers, they exist in every nation and always will do, London has a history of rioting going as far back to the 1940's. To imply 3 nights of localized rioting has finished off the UK is ridiculous.

I really think you are all under estimating the determination of the UK public whatever race they maybe and I reckon the UK will be up and running normally within a couple of weeks.

To think some of you are old enough to remember the blitz !!

Our shop was next to the tube station and opposite the Elephant and Castle pub in London. we moved there just after the Tottenham riots.

It was a newsagents shop and we had Chinese,Indian,Turkish Israeli,Irish,French and several other countries papers as well as British.

The blend of customers coming into the shop was very varied and I have to say that the best were the Jews.

They and their children used my shop and I never had any trouble from them.

We moved to Nottinghamshire and for over 10 years we were very happy but then there were several nightclubs opened and the licensing laws were relaxed and life got there worse.

I told our local MP that no one should be elected to Parliament until they had done a year working in a corner shop. They would then see what life was like for honest people. Get up at 4 or 5 in the morning to work for 12 hours a day and serve the dross who lived off the dole and working on the side.

They would make better MP's.

Carndi message 11.

There was an MP who spoke out and was sacked Enoch Powell for his 'Rivers of Blood' speech April 1968 aimed at immigration and anti-discrimination.

I believe most MP's of the three main parties are aware of the reality of life for residents of inner city areas in the UK but are too fond of their jobs to speak out publicly.

Remember back in the early 50's when the Carribean immigrants started arriving in large numbers to the UK. I lived in Brixton adjacent to the infamous Somerleyton Rd. The road was full of 4/5 storey tenaments and one of the landlords was Winifred Atwell the honky tonk piano player. Most of the properties were rented by local white people and many were old folk who had survived the blitz. One old lady rented a ground floor flat and the rest were occupied by immigrants, unfortunately their lifestyle was gregarious compared with the white residents, they had all day and night parties and their toiletorie habits were to say the least repulsive. The old lady's situation worsened and she spoke to the local MP at the time, Sir Marcus Lipton. his response " You must learn to live and get on with your new neighbours......"

For the record Sir Marcus just happened to reside in a large mansion in Berkshire!

msg 6...you reap what you sow.................the biggest observation i noticed on the riot footage was there was no elderly people, even over 50s.the one that did come out and tried to put a fire out was killed by some hard nut.

i am in my 50s ,so what has blighty got to offer me when i am 60/70...........80?,let alone now.

Growing up in Brixton in the early 60's,(Mervan Road),I can remember well the problems, Junior school we all got on, played in each others houses etc, My Brothers Option for secondry school was Tulse Hill and on the parent teacher evening it was made very clear to white parents that they (THE SCHOOL), Would automatically side with the coloured kids if a scuffle broke out and Kids being kids, full advantage was taken.

Born in North London and have lived South and East as well.

Proud to call myself a Londoner!

Its not a black problem, its a poverty problem.

When i went to school the issue was Asian problem. Blacks and whites together against the asians who were the most dangerous group at that time.

I have friends from all races, colours and religions, i can't belive you have the bare faced cheek to blame the black population.!

Six or seven years ago took our two grandsons to London it was their first visit to the capital, we came by train from Sheffield. On leaving the station in London I left my wife and the kids on one side of the road to cross over and ask this chap where we could get a bus to the eye, after following him up the road repeatedly asking for help he ignored me. When back at work the next day I was telling my mate about it and he said "He probably was foreign and could not speak English."

I think your are watching too many Guy Richie movies mate !

I am in London almost twice a month and like you was born and brought up in Old Kent Road area of south London.

My point is that London is and has been a multi racial city for many many years, persons from various races & cultures have bonded and adapted to the London way of life.

The "foreigners" are now the back bone of London, relationships are too strong, so to suggest a few thousand yobs running riot on the streets for 3 nights has ruined London's multi racial status/relationships is in my opinion an inaccurate assumption.

Ultimately the end result of these riots will provide for a much stronger multi racial London.....

stonehouse

,whilst i like hearing different point of views,i think we agree on one thing, like minded people like ourselves will continue live in harmony with any race, religion,or kind.

but, i am not talking about people like us.
