Best Brandy Sours

Can anyone tell me where I can get a GOOD brandy sour. First had one 3 years ago when we first came on holiday, but since then they seem to be going down hill, cannot find a decent one anywhere!! and I have tried a few let me tell you.



The last good one was in Woody's when that was open. Alsancak area would be appreciated although someone else could always drive!!Out in 13 days

The barman at the Hut in Lapta makes a mean brandy sour, the best I have ever tasted. I think they are closed until next year now as it is a beach bar.

50 ml Brandy

25 ml Lemon squash

2 drops Angostura bitters

Soda

Ice cubes ( bottled water )

1 slice Fresh lemon



Take a long tall glass and add... 2 parts (50mls) brandy (Cyprus Antiquel brandy is not to strong) 1 part (25mls) lemon squash - as pure as possible 2 drops angostura bitters top up with soda add lots of ice cubes stir Decorate with a slice of fresh lemon and serve immediately, with a straw .

Delta cafe in the Yeni Limani makes undoubtably a very fine BS but make sure somebody else is driving they can affect your legs

Nige you missed the sugar trim around the rim of the glass. My wife says the Dome Hotel does the best brandy sours and I guess they've had lots of practice.
