I think to be honest Mark that bearing in mind that Mr Lobb had an article dedicated to Arriva and also further mention of some of his claims in the "Hans" article I do not think you should be surprised that you are not being given a chance to air your side, it is clear you are un-likely to be either. This reporter obviously seems intent to give one side of the story.

No spike I do not think I have been doing that. I think if you look at my posts, overwhealmingly they deal with issues and not personalities. There are the odd posts where I talk about indivduals but I think you will find these are the exceptions. If you think you can show evidence of me systematically using deciet, insinuation and implication to undermine another posters integrity as a person, then please do show the evidence of such. In return if you want me to show evidence of where I think Paul has done such I will gladly do so.



In general I do not attack the poster but the post. I think Paul does attack the poster and not the post with regularity. I do not seek to mislead in order to create a specific impression. I think Paul does. I have never stated as fact and not opinion something about Paul that is detrimental to him if believed, that is in fact untrue. Paul has done this to me. So the short answer to your question would be no.

As far as I could be accused of running a campaign against another poster 'for years' then it would be the poster 'pikey' and his many other alisas. Even here I would maintain that my intent has been to disclose active attempts at deception and not to attack the poster per se. My record even with him of attacking the post and not the poster is clear and demonstrable over considerable time and is considerably better than his as a poster under any or all of his many previous aliases.

As for Jack Lobb being the poster here 'Cornish', thanks Ismet for pointing that out, I have to say it is disapointing that he never felt it relevant to mention this to me when we met in person, whilst assuring me he had no 'axe to grind' over the whole issue and was just 'reporting' what had been told to him. It would seem this is not really the case.

Erol,it seems washerman has lots of friends in the press and manipulates this to his own advantage,it is certainly clear that Mr Cornish Lobb is a customer judging by his posts,it's just a pity he doesn't verify what he is told before going into print.

I remember a while back the front page of Cyprus Today as well,a story about some security flaw in windows mail that washermans son found ( I have a lot of time for Dan,he's a good lad)

I was reading it and thinking why the hell is this on the front page of a Cypriot newspaper with all the other news going on.Maybe that 'reporter' is a customer as well,who knows?

What was the editor thinking?

So the FACTS:



Jack Lobb - aka Cornish has abused his position at the 'Cyprus Star' to publish inaccurate info and worse - claimed he sought both sides of the story but published the misinfo - concerning the running of this board and fibs about a grey market sat tv operation that claimed it's business was suffering from a sustained personal attack... when it transpired the 'attack' was FACTUAL..



Worse the the journo - came on here first and stated his views - KNEW the 'attacks' were really pointing out the correct info - warning clientsof the risks - but STILL posted the misinfo and even had the audacity to claim he had written to me before hand - wanting MY side of the story..



Now I wonder if the 'journo' or the CY Star will now publish the clear statement from the sat tv operator as to the TRUTH and that clients could be turned off - at ANY time ?



IF they don't - members here now know you can't believe all you read.. and specifically who's posts to trust.

I don't know who owns the CY Star or if they care about the FACTS being posted... but when the paper has contributors that have been exposed as ( to say the least ) unprofessional - you have to wonder at the cred of such a newspaper..



It's not the most important news story right, now and I don't CARE what they write about me... but 'they've' had a pop at this board - KNOWING they were fibbing....



I invite Jack Lobb to man up and apologise to members here and using his 'mouth-piece' but I don't expect him to - surprise us Jack Lobb ( member here : id Cornish)

But how come message 36 you don't know who owns the Star. clearly you must live well outside the TRNC zone, and why is your e mail address Cyp44....... and yet you know littl of what is happenin in here. And if it is true that you are connected with theTV industry could I ask if you hve a personal grudge against anyone on this board. If so, why not sort ti out personally.
