I can't say that it seems any busier than previous years. It would appear from the article that anyone coming to the TRNC (even just coming over from the South for a few hours) is classed as a 'tourist'. Maybe the increase in the number of casinos has made the difference ??

msg6 10 years holidaying in the same place . That is what is known as unimaginative......there are far far better venues out there....And some are cheaper,with an infrastructure.proper health care,and a wealth of exotic wildlife..Oh! and "Free" spotless coral beaches..

sadly the trnc government don't seem to be able to see further than the end of their face.

Msg 6 I have holidayed in TRNC for the past 10 years as well as some other places too. We keep returning because we enjoy it. Unimaginative maybe, but happy.

Mess 6, you say 'proper' health care. People out at the moment had to go to Girne hospital on Saturday to have his head stitched. I think he would disagree with your comment. In...., stitched, ...out.... no charge...no waiting for 3hours to be seen either.

This isn't the first time I've heard of this kind of thing.
