I read on the forum a few days ago that the waterpark at Lapta was not good on safety, etc. As we have a 7yr old and a 4yr staying with us, I need to know if a) the one at Catalkoy is open and b) if it is safe.. If anyone can give information, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It is open. safe? I have not visited it recently myself but my brother stayed with us and took his daughter there - not impressed with the water quality (looked cloudy), lots of green 'slime' around the edges and one of the slides was ripping his shorts and catching his daughter's heels as they slid down. This was 2 weeks ago so may be different now. I appreciate this is second hand info but is my contribution.

You are better off at Acapulco. Water slides, Lagoon Pool and beautiful beach. All properly maintained. Entrance was YTL20 for the day for adults and 5YTL for children
