I failed miserably too and also thnk of myself as quite bright. Its not sour grapes, but I cant see the point of most of the questions. I suppose if one got hold of the handbook and had an adequate command of English and could swot up on it, one could learn most by heart, but little would be of much use afterwards!

Same score as No 1 Doyen. I doubt that the government have accurate enough records to be able to give the correct answer themselves to some of the statistical questions. It is all propaganda with an EU slant. Question for government "what percentage of MPs can keep their snouts in the trough at the same time" ? (NB Include government and opposition in your answer).

I only got 46% but would have got a much higher score if I hadn't had stoppped to think but just ticked the answer I first thought off. "he who hesitates is lost"!! As I understand it, the real thing is much different and asks about much more general life in UK, plus a few famous names and places etc.
