| This thread was up before, and I know it is in the same street as the police station, but there are lots of buildings there. Can anyone tell me exactly which one it is please. |

| Hi stella, The building is behind the Police Station, not directly behind it, as we thought (you only end up back in the Police Station) it is on the road behind it. So go past the Police Station, take a right and a right again and it is on that road.
Sorry I can't be more specific as I don't know the name of the roads. the Police are quite helpful if you can't find it.

| I should have said the police station in Girne, by the market. Now I am totally lost, because if I drive past the police station in Girne, and go right and right, I won't be behind it, or in fact anywhere near it, so you must have meant a different police station. Sorry, my fault. I thought it was in one of the buildings on the same road as the police station, but before it. Can anyone help please? |

| Hi Stella
The office is before the Police Station as you go up the market road. You have the driving school on the left, then a taxi rank then a row of little shops/offices. I believe there are 3 for the Belediyesi you need the first one i.e. the one nearest the main road. You only have to go into this office to register your property and pay the first year, afterwards you can just take your receipt into the normal Belediyesi office in the town to pay (unless you actually receive a bill of course) |
