| Does anybody know if it is possible to get an estimate on how much to pay on taking your own uk car to TRNC for your own personal use , and if so how ? |

looked at all avenues to getting a car in ,they will give you an estimate then when the vehicle arrives,they will most definatley have your pants down.
my dads got a 55 plate grand jeep cherokee,worth only 10k in uk....the tax will be a minimum of 18k.
buy a car here,look for someone desperate to get back to uk and turn up with half the money! |

What country would want such a pollutant heavy weight on their roads
53 plate 1.25 Fiesta we owned from new £1400 duty no hassle same as estimate
The customs are off the ring road merc dealer on the left they are on the right take your log book and ask
# Rule small engine low weight low tax low import duty
Big engine heavy vehicle high tax and import duty |

| Wanderer, if only it were that simple......LOL Although I agree about not having high polluting vehicles (that doesn't mean no big vehicles as they can be much cleaner than small cars with a knackered engine!!)
It also depends on country of origin too.. We did it a few years ago with a VW golf and it cost a small fortune.
Get one here, there's loads of dealers and lots for sale by ex pats and locals too. Have a look here http://www.kktcarabam.com

| We had an estimate before we came of 7k, once the car got here they put it up to 12k. You can't trust them! |
