Sorry folks but this is actually a worth while and important post for a change, so please read on:

Izzet, please change the title appropriately if you feel it needs to be, though the one I have put will probably draw plenty of attention. Many thanks.

Folks,

A young chap needs a little help.

Doesn't want anything material from anyone, just a little help.

Please read the link to Villa owners post from Teresa.

http://trncvillaowners.phpbb3now.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4932&p=31632#p31632

I've searched everywhere here in SA for some duvets for the chap to bring home in a week or so, but they don’t seem to exists here.

Please contact Teresa or myself, and Teresa will arrange to have the special duvet covers delivered to your house to bring out when you come.

If you normally come full up, and this causes some excess baggage, I’ll pay for a couple of kilos.

Thanks for reading, now you can all get back to normal duties.

Brian.

Brian thankyou so much for posting this here and also offering to pay the excess.

My neighbours 5 yr old has been diagnosed as suffering from a dustmite allergy and this has caused him so much distress over the last few months.

I have managed to get most of the anti allergy bedding from the south the only thing i cant find are the actual duvet covers.

I have found them advertised on ebay so if anyone is coming over soon and would be willing to bring them i can order and pay for them and get then sent direct to you.

I can be contacted on teresacefa1@hotmail.com

Thanks

Teresa,

If you can tell me what you want and where they can be bought quickly in the UK,

I will buy them, and I have a friend over here, who I know will bring them back.

Just E mail the detail.

Brian, Well done...a child of the universe!

OMG Jim you would not believe that stick you bought out for me, it is now about 5 ft high and has the most gorgeous flowers.

Thanks guys for the offer but the duvet cover problem has now been sorted. Now all i have to do is try and educate the parents that they do not need to put 5 blankets on top of the actual duvet lol.

Thankyou all so much this child will hopefully now get a decent nights sleep.

The spray option is also worth noting... it's a recognised way of helping thoose with Asthma relating to dust mites...

Before we realised that my late-onset-allergic-Asthma was not caused by dust mites, but by contact or close proximity with cats, it was what was recommended by UK medical experts...

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that 20 minuets in a tumble dryer will kill dust mites. I know most people in TRNC will not have a tumble dryer but for those folks back home, it is an easy way of killing them. Also 24 hours in the freezer inside plastic bag does same trick.
