Stop-over in Istanbul from Ercan

I have been trying to find out if I can get a few days stop-off in Istanbul on

return from Ercan to Stansted early Nov. Has anyone done this, and if so

how? I await some details from Pegasus but they are slow replying.

You cannot do it with a normal Ercan - Stanstead return ticket. It just means buying a separate ticket for each leg of the flight. And buying advance cheap tickets from Pegasus usually means you cannot get a refund if you miss your flight.

However, ıf you could talk to them and say you do not want a refund, but can they change the return leg to Istanbul/Stanstead only, they might be willing to allow you to board the plane in Istanbul. That way, all you need to do is buy a one way ticket to Istanbul from Ercan (usually between 65-100 TL, or 69 TL if you fly with Onur Air) few days before your Istanbul-Stanstead flight.

..or you can book to fly to Istanbul from 'TRNC' ( return ) and then fly EasyJet ( or what ever) from Istanbul back to the UK...( return)



I've done it - with a few days stopover .. Istanbul is a place everyone should explore ( at least ) one time..
