Myself and Kristain are having a wedding blessing at 5pm on Wednesday 7th September. This will be held at Ada Beach Hotel. Just a small party so would love your support if you have an hour to spare. We are on holiday from England.

This is the blessing where everyone is giving their services free because of the medical condition of Mel. the island of love has come up trumps on this one, and Melanie wouldlove people to come and share her special moment with her. She deserves it, so do come and wish her well. to have extra support would be wonderful for her.

Ada Beach Hotel is at Alsancak/Karaoglanoglu just at the end of the motorway coming from Kyrenia. there is a garage on the left hand side of the road, and one can see Ada Beach over to the right. the actual turning is a few yards further on and marked.

As to the medical condition, Mel is battling cancer - and I mean 'battling'. She has been given more and more bad news on her condition, and an operation she was scheduled to have when she returned to U.K has been cancelled in the light of more recent tests, and she will be returning to try a new form of treatment. She deserves our love for all the courage she is showing in trying to beat this horrible disease. She is not looking for sympathy, but support, and we feel we should try and give it. we want to give her a few hours of love, joy, happiness and hope.

so, if you feel you can come and support that - see you there!

Marion - we could not have put it better ourselves. Mel had extensions put in her hair yesterday thanks to the kindness of Chicago Hair Club and her make up done as a trial for wednesday. It is such a bitter sweet time for us. She looks so well and is enjoying herself here in North Cyprus.



If Beryl and Ann are looking at this - they are more than welcome.



Teresa and Marion have been amazing and also Lydia Wise who kindly took us to the South for Ann to get something to wear.

I am looking forward to seeing what Ann is wearing, cos I did not go to the shop. I think I know, but...... the big question is what will Ralph (Dad) be wearing? And Kristian should look a handsome sight, dressed in..... oh, but I mustn't say!

Seriously, anyone who wishes to come and share in a special moment of love, then do come at 5p.m. to the Ada - I heard a rumour you might even get more than a glass of water. But of course, if loads of people come, it might become a thimbleful.

If anyone from here is coming could you please let me know so i can arrange enough chairs, for everyone to sit on and if anyone is interested in staying for the evening then there is an open buffet which the hotel will make available for non guests (meals will be charged for). The one and only Al August will be providing the entertainment so will be a good night.

I know it is not the norm to attend the wedding of a stranger but lets show this couple what a friendly lot we are and join with them on this very special day.

thanks tom. sadly Teresa could not be there and the wonderful flower Fairy stepped in and did her magic for Teresa. ada hotel came up trumps, decorations were done and about 15 people were there altogether. It was wonderful the way everyone showed their love particularly perhaps Chicago Hair Club who made Melanie look a real blonde beauty. Stunning. And also her daughter Leanne who made a gorgeous bridesmaid who had her done by Chicago as well. ralph looked stunning in yellow, and Ann looked great in the trousers she bought in the south (and she wore a top as well!). Ralph gave us all a glass of champers and a bit of wedding cake (will I EVER be a size zero?) and the family enjoyed an evening meal under a gazebo looking out to sea. But they will have to tell you about that cos I had gone home to hubby and my 'family' (dog and cats). thanks for sending your good wishes, as I knew lots of people would be thinking of the couple. Blessings.
