Hi Purdie I was not Gordons but Royal Irish, worked with a few Gordons in my career, here our a few names they have all been out a while but you might recall a few.

Csgt Big Mick Cassack left as a PSI with the London Jocks, Csgt Ian Strutt Recce Psi the London Jocks Cpl Stevie Freeman, Spent 8 weeks with him at the school of Infantry (Sig Pl) Joe Ghappie Sig pl. they are all good men and had many a good night out with big Mick in London

Iwas a 'sheepshagger' before I went Airborne!

At IJLB , Norrie Jaffray was PL Sgt, Gogs Wylie,Doogie Middler, Ces Barnard to name a few.

Was with BW when we had Hieland Games against Gordons in Ulster in 1977, few swallies there!

I'm ex Black Watch 72-97. Colin Blair was my first platoon Sgt at SID Bridge of Don. Bill Taylor and Davie Henderson were there at the same time.

Hi Adkdundee, Did you know Kiwi Simpson and Sgt dinger Bell both Sigs pl Black Watch this was 1982.

Dinger was an instructer in the school of I and Kiwi on the course with me,
