Hi everybody,i am new to this site and thought i would introduce myself and my wife.

My name is Rob and my wife is Carol we live in N.Wales in the U.K.

We are trying to gather as much info as we can about living in N.Cyprus.

The lifestyle,the cost of living and any more info if you guys could kindly pass on to us.

It is now just approaching 8.00pm in the U.K its nearly dark,it is cold and the rain is lashing down.

See what you guys are missing!!lol

I we came here just over 4yrs ago with nothing but the money from the sale of our home, eight suite case's that cost us £450.00.A cat and a dog.



We invested the money and RENT Best way to go ! It can turn very cold in the winter needing log fires and electric blankest but that just for a few months. We have a huge Villa with Huge pool and pay £350.Its our unless world war three breaks out Far too many empty places here asking high rents.



We live on a tight budget as most do but food is just a wee bit cheaper than back home ! We were told not to treat it like one big holiday,we soon settled in and have made some fantastic new friends.Its a great lifestyle and I get home say once a year,two if I have been extra sweet to Mr Spider.Feel free to email mariavic@live.com if you need to know more.

Hi we wish you luck too, we move out on the 26th. Probably did it all wrong, bought off plan at sea terra reserve. Luckily complex was built and our apartment is habitable. Have come over rmany times for holidays now making the big move. Be social and listen we have made many friends who have been most useful and helpful. Keep an open mind and keep asking questions. There are many peole on here who are only too willing to put themselves out and help you.

Good luck to you and yours and I hope everything works out for you, North Cyprus is a great place with many good people but there are also creeps who would rip you off and deceive you but those people are everywhere in every country ! Just be careful and talk to those who have been living there for a long time so that you can feed off their experiences and then make considered choices !
