Thomas Cook to Gatwick yesterday anyone?

Our friends were supposed to be flying 19.00 yesterday evening but this was changed 2 days prior to 01.05 this morning. However when they arrived at Larnaca last night at 22.30 they were told there was no plane for them and were taken to the Hilton in Nicosia.

Is this a normal occurence with Thomas Cook flights as we have no direct experience of them? I am busy cleaning their room in case they have to come back!!

Msg. 1 I don't know about the cancellation business, but I was with some people yesterday who said they had the worst leg room they have ever had on any plane ever, a couple of weeks ago with T. Cook. Can't speak personally though.

I flew Gllasgow to Larnaca last night was delayed an hour in leaving Glasgow as computers crashed. No idea what knock on effect that had

we used them a couple of months ago.We had no delays but as stated in message 2 the leg room is very cramped

I had two friends going to Leeds with Fly2 on Wednesday 07/09/ flight should have gone at 5.20pm was cancelled, they spent the night at the Hilton in Nicosia and should have flown out today at 10am.



Not heard if they managed to get away.

Hi my friends spent the night at the Hilton in Nicosia, they were due to fly out tonight at 17.00 however they were still sitting on the tarmac at 18.00. Apparently Thomas Cook had hired a Dubrovnik Airways plane (never heard of them???) but they thought it would have to stop in Italy to refuel. They have no idea when they will arrive back at Gatwick.

They also said that the leg room was very cramped but obviously this is the least of their problems now.

Unfortunately I don't think they will be coming to visit us again!
