My car radio is asking for a code number it is not written on the casing or hidden anywhere in the car what can i do?

Just had the same myself. Its a ford and dont know what your car is, but went to the main dealer in Nicosia the guy came out put a number in the radio, radio did a few turns and showed another long number that he wrote down, went back to his computer, 10 mins later he came out and put in the correct code. it is now written down where |I can find it. No fee! Hope this helps.

when my code was lost, I googled - What is the code for my mX5 - and hey presto some helpful soul had put the information on the web, I followed the instructions step by step and it worked.....My local garage wanted £60!!

Settledhere, my radio is not nickable.The whole of the dashboard needed removing, hence the garage wanting £60 or so to do the work...........It would have been easier to just replace a radio!!.
