Our management company have not given us any facility to pay maintenance fees and other bills by credit card. Their argument for this is that it would be more expensive for owners to pay this way. We have regularly paid restaurant bills by plastic all around Kyrenia and are not aware of having been charged extra for paying by this method. Can anyone give us any information on this please ? Many owners are stating that it would be REALLY useful to pay by Credit Card. Are our management company just being awkward or would we really have to pay over the odds if they set up a Credit Card payment facility for us ? Thanks.

Why not ask them for an account to pay into and do internet banking to transfer funds to them direct...

It would depend on how much to card francise would cost them, a small company would expect to pay a min of 5% of turnover plus a few hundred pounds for setting up the facility hence their relutance to offer this as a free service

Just to give an idea as to the scale of the business, the Management company will be collecting something in the region of £25K per month so not exactly a small business. Do other management companies offer this facility and do they charge for it ?

Hi Mick868 If you get a Nationwide debit card, you can use this anywhere in the world without any charges. Lots of expats have their pensions paid into Nationwide accounts in UK and then use cards in ATM machine to draw out money abroad. This would seem a solution. The Butlers wife.
