| Please can anyone advise; we have been told any furniture thats original thats been bought in TRNC cannot leave the country,is this true? And if so why? Surely if you've paid for it its yours to take to where ever?? |

| hi there georgie ive know a few people who have left cyprus and returned back to the u.k with their furniture but these people had residence visas (gives you a certain amount of rights) but not sure if you only have got a normal tourist visa you ask what makes the diffrence well when you come into the country when bringing furniture from the u.k you have to have a residence visa for it to clear customs to show it is for personal use and your not going to sell it, this comes in to play also when you are leaving but the best bet is to find out from the customs office |
