Didn't even know that Kibtek had a website. They've finally moved in 21st Century. Even so it is a bit confusing for a non Turkish speaker. tariff 2 is the domestic tariff & as it shows. 1st 0-250 units in each month are 30 kurus each next 250 are 35 kurus next 250 are 38 kurus over 750 per month 50 kurus each unit. However the 250 unit bands only applies on a 30 day month (30 days since meter was last read). so the unit bands are increased/decreased by 8 or 9 for each day more or less than this. examples. 31 days - the bands are 258 units. 32 days - bands are 267 units & 32 days bands are 275 units & so on. 29 days are 242 units, 28 days are 233 units & 27 days are 225 units & so on. Monthly service charge for a 30 day month is 10.58 TL. But like the units is similarly adjusted up or down. eg. 31 days = 10.93 TL, 32 days = 11.29 TL, 29 days = 10.23 TL & 28 days = 9.88 TL. You really need a spreadsheet to work this all out, then it is quite easy. ctd.

ctd. Finally having calculated the total unit price cost + service charge per day, the subtotal has 10% VAT added, which gives you the final total bill. Btw. I cannot understand the very first item against tariff 2. It shows "ilk 250 kws icin". Perhaps a Turkish speaker can translate this ? I have never had a bill of less than 250 units anyway, but the next line shows 0-250 which is the lowest band or was as far as I knew ???

Don't forget they will sometimes read you meter at different times of the month and like us you can be fined a nominal amount because you've been mislead by the date they wanted the money by!!
