| Hi if anyone attended the Lionel Richie (Hamilton Brown) at Korinium Golf club this evening has found a 3 carat dimond cluster dress ring I would be grateful if you could contact me. I stupidly may have left it in the ladies whilst washing my hands. It is very precious as my husband bought it for me only a few weeks ago. Reward offered or donation to charity. | I'm sure being at such a wonderful place (Korinium Golf club) with such wonderful "honest" people all around you that when you wake up in the morning some one will be calling you to say they have found the ring !! |

I would try the management at Korineum they might have it. If I found a valuable ring in a washroom I would hand it to the manager of the establishment, and am sure most honest people would do the same. Chris

Msg. 4 Unfortunately many people do take their rings off when in cloakrooms (particularly when they first have it) If I remember correctly Princess Diana did the same thing (or was it Fergie?)

Your fiance/husband won't be pleased. An engagement ring like that, costing roughly about $3,000 shouldn't be hard to replace given how careless you've been with it.

Thank you all for kind comments texts and calls etc. Msg 7 it was not my engagement ring. It was a dress ring. Something you would not wear every day. We did return to the golf course a few times and walked around the area. Also searched to ladies in both areas. All staff on site, the organisers and Michael were very helpful. So if anyone out there is offered a ring for sale that has approximately 30 diamonds on a large mount. It could very well be mine. The ring looks like costume jewellery which is why I enjoyed wearing it. Value is not important and much more than message 7 would ever imagine. The value is a nuisance but more the sentimental value for me and no it was not insured.

Maria, The wisest thing to do at this point is visit a jeweler. Odds are, whoever stole it wouldn't want to wear it as a fashion accessory, but re-sell it for a profit.

Maybe whoever FOUND it, doesn't realise that it's diamonds, but thinks it is what Maria said, a piece of costume jewellery. Not everyone reads this board, so maybe we should all keep our eyes and ears open. Good luck Maria, I hope you do get it back.

Maria - why not place an ad in the Turkish language newspapers stressing the sentimental value rather than the financial value of the ring. Nothing to lose by this and you never know.
