In support of two Northern Cyprus charities ("Kemal Saraçoğlu Foundation for Children with Leukemia and Fight against Cancer" and the activities of well known nurse Chris Offord) The Black Olive Café in Alsancak organised a great evening with rock band "Pearl" - no introduction needed!

Excellent evening again, Vicky and staff! Thanks!

In case anyone is wondering "The activities of well known nurse Chris Offord" Is the campaign to raise funds to provide & maintain 4 defibrillators for the Lapta area.

Hi Everyone,



Just to let you know that 1860 lire was raised during last nights event, to be split 50/50 between the two charities.



This was a fantasic acheivement and our thanks to everyone for making things happen.



A great result and I know "Pearl" were delighted with the sum raised and really enjoyed playing at The Black Olive Cafe.

It was a good night and It was good to meet you. Although the band are talking about taking a rest it would be good to see them back at the Black Olive Cafe again sometime soon. Considering what else was going on that night (Girne Festival/112 do etc) there was a good turnout. Keep rocking.
