they have a new branch near bogas , on main road before moon over water, on other side of the road. 21% on ytl account.

You can always visit Creditwest Bank all English speaking branches in Karaoğlanoğlu or Çatalköy to see the difference in approach and service we to have good interest rates.

joandjelly I hope there is a difference as Creditwest Bank have taken care in forming 2 teams of bilingual bankers in Karaoğlanoğlu and Çatalköy geared towards the expat community here in the TRNC, the majority of our documentation which you have to sign has been translated. We take part in events to do with BRS and sponser certain events so that we get a better understanding of the needs of people who have come from other parts of the world and reside in the TRNC. The idea is not to leave your banking needs to one person in any given bank but rather give you a continous service that only a branch of trained experienced people can provide.

Beware- Had an account for 2 years with the Kyrenia Branch went in 6 months ago to transfer to Credit West as more convienent for east side of town and was asked not to as new branch opening within 2 months east side. Waited and waited and finally it opens. Was told no problem leaving account at Kyrenia branch and could draw from any Continetal Bank - 1 1/2 hours spent first time trying to withdraw some money from kara------ told Bank Manager from Kyrenia did not want any of his customers using Kara branch then asked to sign transfer of money letter every month with 6 phone calls going back and forward and finally got money. 2nd visit wanted to go through same process again walked out went to kyrenia branch asked for all my money told could not have it as English speaking lady not in to go back in half hour. Did not have time to wait - problem unresolved.

The contınental bank has now a branch ın Karaoglanoglu just befor the GAU turnıng. They have an Engşısh speakıng persoonel wıth ın branch as well very polıte and can tell you all you want to know about the guarantee for the accounts as well.
