Yes but your Greek MOT can only be obtained from Metahan Mon to Fri

Despite the insistence of some forum users, there is no crossing at Pila/Pyla. You can get insurance, if as msg 5 above infers, you have a valid RoC (not Greek) MOT from the crossings at Beyarmadu/Pergamos or Black Knight/Ayios Nikolias where the TRNC abuts the ESBA, not RoC. Whilst this information will not change the habits of these persisting in using the name Pila, it might, just help first-time visitors travelling north-south-north.



If you need the RoC MOT get to the crossing at Metehan/Ayios Dometrios after 1000, but before 1300. Take valid, in-date national driving licence, car docs in your name, passport and huge degree of charm.

MOT office at Metehan opens at 07:30. I did it last Monday.



And it's Beyarmudu for the umpteenth sodding time. Not Pyla!
