| Jim, you are right, great music and great musicians. But –and this is my very personal taste- not my style, the arrangements are mainly in classic New Orleans Jazz style. Clapton and Marsalis doing “Ice Cream” (is it a tribute to Chris Barber?), what a surprise! Maybe Clapton fans should first listen to it (plenty free downloads in the net) before buying. Riddles, agree to you, but this CD is quite a different matter. |
