Went to Morelli's restaurant to-night with friends

Meal as usual was excellent

Food and presentation could not fault it

Was 2 of our friends first time there

But must say they need more than one waiter serving

Even if it is only for Thursday - Saturday

Will go back again though

We had the same problem with having to wait. Agree one waiter is not enough. Put us off a bit but as you say will go again.

Have been a few times and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful but must be difficult not knowing who or many will turn up. It would be nice to be offered brandy or a coffee on paying the bill. Will be back there in December with the fire roaring

Never had a bad meal there. However we have spoken to the owner on two occasions to tell him that he needs more than one waiter. The young man works his socks off trying to assist everyone at the same time. There have been times when we've not asked for a second cup of coffee because he would have had to make it himself as well as the waiting on table. Niazi is just going to have put his hands in his pockets and hire another person (I suspect it will go against the grain though)

We have visitors as from tonight and were looking forward to a meal at Morrelli's - does this mean that it's not worth going now??

If the replacement chef is the person I think it is then you wont be disappointed.....From what I can establish he has just left a restaurant east of Girne (which has just closed down) and is starting this month.

As his food is so good we will travel all the way from Catalkoy (and that is a long way) for his food.

Cant say much more as at present.

Give it a try, and please post further on this thread.
