Have I missed the Catalkoy dog registration this year? It is normally in August but haven't heard anything so far.

I am puzzled by the question of dog registration. Ozankoy doesnt do it so I have to register my dogs in Kyrenia (near the Wed. market) but I never heard of a particular time of year. I just do it on the anniversary of first registration of a particular dog. Does anyone know for certain - or is it a case of each authority has its own rules?

KAR placed a classified in Wednesdays Cyprus Today advising that registration is in January. No specific belediye mentioned. They say more info is on their website.

The web page says that all dogs have to have a disc, but I didn't get one for my previous dog. :

For the last few years Catalkoy belediyesi have put a leaflet in our post box giving us the date and place to register the dogs. It is normally at the Cemetery near the Lodge but this year we haven't had any notification.

We have never been given a disc for the dogs.

Went to the Beledeyesi office in Catalkoy square near the cooffee shops at the beginning of the week to re-register our dogs. The guy in the office said that for second and subsequent registratios we would be notified at our house.
