I have a some questions. The first is, how much is a pay as you go turkcell dongle; the second; is the speed quick enough to be able to use skype. I have asked the second question a while ago but have heard that there is a new dongle. Is turkcell the best?

I can't remember how much I paid for my Turkcell dongle now, sorry. As for Skype, you can use but I found it intermittent and kept dropping out, frustrating.

Anyone know if Turkcell or Telsim do mifi dongles, want to have wifi and use Viber on smartphone.

We use a Telsim dongle,just topped up at cost of 25tl.That usually lasts us for the month.Usually skype works fine.Inital cost was 99tl.

A Dongle(3G) is 'the' option if you really need to have a connection on the move. While you are paying a lot more for the mobility, it suffers greatly in terms of performance and reliability.



For around 60TL you can get a 3G package of about 4GB limit download. With the most basic Multimax Internet package also for 60TL, you can download 4GB of files in approx 5 hours and you still have 29 days and 19 hours of extra free usage.



Under normal circumstances, Skype performance is also far superior with a multimax connection than 3G.



I myself use a 3G connection because it is my business to be online wherever I go, but if you do not need the mobility part of it, there are better alternatives out there.
